Dumpster Usage Guidelines: What You Can and Cannot Dispose of
NO WET PAINTS, OILS, LIQUIDS OF ANY KIND, AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL
Usage Guidelines:
Level Filling: Please refrain from overfilling the dumpsters beyond the level of the walls. This ensures safe and efficient handling during pickup.
Accepted Materials:
- Household Waste: General household items are permitted, ensuring they are not hazardous or prohibited.
- Building Materials: Non-hazardous building materials such as lumber, drywall, and flooring are allowed.
- Roofing Materials: Shingles can be disposed of in our dumpsters.
- Wood: Untreated wood is acceptable for disposal.
- Concrete: Stones, bricks, and small concrete pieces are accepted. However, they must be placed in a dumpster separate from other waste.
Special Considerations:
- Car and Truck Tires: We accept tires that are off the rim for an additional fee of $7 per tire. Please inform us of the number of tires you have when placing your dumpster order. Note that tires should not be placed inside the dumpster; we will collect them separately if left near the dumpster.
Prohibited Items:
For safety and environmental reasons, the following items are strictly prohibited in our dumpsters:
- Hazardous Waste: This includes asbestos, chemicals, oils, fuels, pesticides, acids, paints, cleaners, and degreasers.
- Radioactive Materials: Any materials with radioactive properties are not allowed.
- Explosives: Items that are explosive or potentially dangerous are strictly prohibited.
- Septic Tank Plumbing, Raw Sewage, or Sludge: Materials related to septic systems, raw sewage, or sludge are not permitted.
- Infectious Waste: Any waste that poses a biological risk is strictly prohibited.
By following these guidelines, you contribute to a safer and more environmentally conscious waste disposal process.
